How We Train

Ion Fit Club (IFC) provides three member options – Tri, Training and Team. While there’s no substitute for one-on-one dedicated coaching, Ion Fit Club recognizes the athlete’s need for a more flexible approach, enabling you to train alongside other passionate athletes and triathletes, when and how you prefer.

Tri IFC – for a low monthly fee, maintain triathlon fitness by following a suggested training pattern. Join us for up to three weekly coach-led runs, and two monthly coach-led bike rides. Whether you have a coach, are considering coaching in the future, or simply wish to train with others, you should Tri IFC! Members can upgrade to Training or Team IFC membership anytime.

Training IFC – upgrade from Tri IFC to receive all the Tri IFC benefits, plus a custom training plan designed around your two priority races each year. Track your workouts effectively within your own Training Peaks™ account, receive your workouts daily and coach communication and feedback every week. Training IFC membership is ideal for athletes requiring more individual guidance without the full commitment to one-on-one coaching.

Team IFC – exclusive to IFC members, flex up to a complete one-on-one coaching experience when you really need to. Team up with our Ironman® Certified, USAT and USA Cycling Level II Coach for a minimum of 3 months coinciding with your priority event(s). You’ll enjoy frequent feedback via Training Peaks™, text/email communications, a weekly coach call, and a focus on training with power and metrics analysis.
