Leadership

For those athletes wishing to go further than they thought possible to achieve their goals coaching has been an essential part of this process. To this end I specialize in coaching athletes who have had at least 2 years in the sport who wish to improve their performance and wish to be further educated while they train. I believe in a quality approach to training (my athletes) knowing that the end result will only be as good as the input. I believe in coaching ‘by the numbers’ whilst balancing that with the individual needs and wishes of the athlete. My credentials include USA Triathlon,Ironman®, USA Cycling Level III and Training Peaks™ Certified Coach. I am also a Vision Quest® Indoor Cycling Coach.

Training and Racing with a Power Meter, 2nd Ed. by Dr. Andrew Coggan and Hunter Allen is a large part of my philosophy of training and racing on the bike and I believe in staying on the cutting edge of technology and education by utilizing the latest software, communication methods and analysis. Joe Friel and his wealth of knowledge and experience is an inspiration for me and I live by a philosophy of avoiding mistakes, rework, breakdowns, inefficiencies and variations to tried and tested philosophies and metrics. My background experience as a manger in a quality driven environment, leading and motivating teams for a Fortune 500 Hospitality company has underpinned my professional approach to coaching.
